To issue a.sign Seal qualified PSD2 you need the following:

  • The Certificate Signing Request of a software certificate which is used for authentication when using the PDF signature interface.
  • A notification from the FMA (or another European supervisory authority) regarding one or more of the following roles as a financial service provider:
    • Account management
    • Payment initiation
    • Account information
    • Issuance of card-based payment instruments
  • Information on the full company name and the registration number according to the official registration
  • Proof of identity by means of a qualified electronic signature (e.g. ID Austria or xIDENTITY) or an official photo ID
  • If the applicant is not authorized to sign according to the company register, we also require a qualified signed power of attorney from an authorized signatory
  • If the registered office is in another EU country, the authorized representative must prove the identity of the person submitting the application by presenting a notarized official register excerpt

a.sign SSL qualified (QWACs) PSD2

The qualified SSL certificate with the PSD2 extension shows the identity of the accessing company and secures an encrypted transport channel.

To issue a.sign SSL qualified PSD2 you need the following:

  • The Certificate Signing Request from your web server
  • A notification from the FMA (or another European supervisory authority) regarding one or more of the following roles as a financial service provider:
    • Account management
    • Payment initiation
    • Account information
    • Issuance of card-based payment instruments
  • Information on the full company name and the registration number according to the official registration
  • Proof of identity by means of a qualified electronic signature (e.g. ID Austria or xIDENTITY) or an official photo ID
  • If the applicant is not authorized to sign according to the company register, we also require a qualified signed power of attorney from an authorized signatory
  • If the company's registered office is in another EU country, the authorized representative must prove the identity of the applicant by submitting a notarized official register excerpt
  • A registered and publicly available domain name. If the listed domain is not owned by the applicant, a power of attorney including an ID scan and a qualified signature is required
  • The company address attached in the appendix is stated on an expert opinion drawn up by a third, authorized person (legal opinion by a notary or lawyer or annual financial statements confirmed by an independent auditor) and corresponds to the address in the company register
  • A bank confirmation of an active account in the company name

Order

Verification of the data

The submitted documents and information are then checked by A-Trust and the FMA is consulted in order to have the issue confirmed.

Obtain access

After all documents have been successfully checked, your PSD2 certificate will be issued and sent, which you can download from our web shop. Usually, you will receive your PSD2 certificate within 3 working days once all documents have been submitted.
