Compliance with legal requirements
Qualified company seals help to fulfill regulatory requirements, such as the legal requirements for e-invoices: In Austria, Germany and Switzerland, it must be possible to guarantee the authenticity of the origin and the integrity of the content of an e-invoice; see §11 UstG (AT) or §14 UstG (DE) or GeBüV (CH).

Requirements for issuing a qualified seal
Two requirements must be met for the authentication of the respective legal entity and the issuance of your qualified company seal.
EU registered office
A registered office within the European Union is required for the issue of the qualified company seal. We therefore check your data using an excerpt from the Austrian commercial register or from the European Business Register (EBR). Non-registered organizations must provide copies of alternative documents to verify existence.
Unique identification
The clear identification of the authorized person takes place via the qualified signature of a document (e.g. ID Austria or xIDENTITY). If you have submitted all the required documentation, you should receive your certificate within 1-2 working day.
